The appearance of side effects requires the suspension of treatment.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eChildren\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Antispasmina Colica is contraindicated in children under 12 years of age.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003ePossible side effects\u003c\/b\u003e \u003cbr\u003eLike all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.\u003cbr\u003e The following side effects have been reported following treatment with normal doses of Antispasmina Colica:\u003cbr\u003e • dry mouth nausea,\u003cbr\u003e • vomit,\u003cbr\u003e • presence in the esophagus of material refluxed from the stomach (gastroesophageal reflux),\u003cbr\u003e • pain localized behind the sternum,\u003cbr\u003e • acceleration of the heartbeat,\u003cbr\u003e • increased pressure inside the eye,\u003cbr\u003e • difficulty urinating,\u003cbr\u003e • constipation,\u003cbr\u003e • dizziness,\u003cbr\u003e • drowsiness,\u003cbr\u003e • inflammation of the eye (conjunctivitis),\u003cbr\u003e • allergic reactions, skin reactions, hives,\u003cbr\u003e • yellow-brownish coloration of the skin (jaundice) and alteration of laboratory tests of liver function,\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e At high doses, urinary retention, changes in heartbeat, breathing difficulties, agitation, and mental confusion may occur. \u003cbr\u003eFollowing the instructions in the package leaflet reduces the risk of side effects.\u003cbr\u003e These side effects are usually temporary.
