Flurbiprofen belongs to a group of medicines called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs). These medicines work by changing the body's response to pain, swelling and fever.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Aspigoladolact is indicated to relieve the symptoms of sore throat such as throat inflammation, pain, difficulty swallowing and swelling for short-term treatment in adults aged 18 years and over.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWhat you need to know before taking the medicine\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eDo not use Aspigoladolact if:\u003c\/b\u003e \u003cbr\u003e• You are allergic to flurbiprofen, or to other Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) such as aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) or to any of the other ingredients listed in section 6.\u003cbr\u003e • You have previously had allergic reactions after taking Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) or aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid); for example asthma, wheezing, itching, runny nose, skin rash, swelling.\u003cbr\u003e • You have or have had 2 or more episodes of stomach ulcers or bleeding or intestinal ulcers.\u003cbr\u003e • Have ever had severe colitis (inflammation of the bowel).\u003cbr\u003e • Have you ever had blood clotting problems or bleeding problems after taking NSAIDs.\u003cbr\u003e • You are in the last three months of pregnancy (see section \"Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility\").\u003cbr\u003e • Have severe heart, kidney or liver failure.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWarnings and precautions\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Aspigoladolact if: \u003cbr\u003e• You are already taking other Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) or aspirin.\u003cbr\u003e • You have tonsillitis (inflammation of the tonsils) or think you may have bacterial inflammation of the throat (as you may need to take antibiotics).\u003cbr\u003e • have an infection – see “Infections” below.\u003cbr\u003e • You are elderly (as you are more likely to experience side effects).\u003cbr\u003e • Have or have had episodes of asthma or suffer from allergies.\u003cbr\u003e • Have systemic lupus erythematosus or mixed connective tissue disease.\u003cbr\u003e • Suffers from hypertension (high blood pressure).\u003cbr\u003e • Has intestinal diseases (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease).\u003cbr\u003e • Have heart, kidney or liver problems.\u003cbr\u003e • He had a stroke.\u003cbr\u003e • She is in the first 6 months of pregnancy or is breastfeeding.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWhile using Aspigoladolact\u003c\/b\u003e \u003cbr\u003e• At the first sign of any skin reaction (rash, peeling, blisters) or other evidence of an allergic reaction, stop using the spray immediately and consult a doctor immediately.\u003cbr\u003e • Report any unusual abdominal symptoms (especially bleeding) to your doctor.\u003cbr\u003e • Contact your doctor if you notice no improvement or if you notice worsening or if you develop new symptoms.\u003cbr\u003e • Drugs such as flurbiprofen may be associated with a small increased risk of heart attack or stroke.\u003cbr\u003e Any risk is more likely with higher doses or prolonged treatments. \u003cb\u003eDo not exceed the recommended dose or duration of treatment\u003c\/b\u003e (see section 3).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cem\u003e\u003cb\u003eInfections\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e \u003cbr\u003eNonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) may hide signs of infection such as fever and pain.
