If you plan to have laboratory tests, you should tell your doctor or laboratory staff that you are taking or have recently taken Biodermatin, as biotin may affect the results of these tests. Depending on the test used, results may be falsely elevated or falsely low due to biotin. Your doctor may ask you to stop taking Biodermatin before laboratory tests. You should also be aware that other products you may be taking, such as multivitamins or hair, skin, and nail supplements, may contain biotin and affect the results of laboratory tests.
