This will decrease the risk of an adverse reaction to light (photosensitization).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Like other medicines for local (topical) use, especially in case of prolonged or repeated therapy, BREXIDOL Unidie can cause redness and itching (sensitization phenomena). Stop the treatment and contact your doctor or pharmacist, if using this patch you experience skin reactions at the application site.\u003cbr\u003e   \u003cbr\u003eIf you develop a rash or skin symptoms, you must stop taking BREXIDOL Unidie immediately, contact a doctor immediately and inform the doctor that you are taking this medicine.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eChildren and adolescents\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Do not use BREXIDOL Unidie in children under 12 years of age.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003ePossible side effects\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Following the instructions in this leaflet will reduce the risk of side effects.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Stop using BREXIDOL Unidie immediately and contact your doctor if you experience any of the following conditions:\u003cbr\u003e • allergic reactions such as: more or less sudden appearance of skin lesions, for example spotty or widespread changes in colour (erythema), itching, burning, inflammation of the skin (contact dermatitis), numbness or tingling at the site where the patch was applied; \u003cbr\u003e• extensive and severe skin reactions, even after exposure to the sun (photosensitivity), such as hives, swelling (angioedema) of the face, eyes, lips, tongue and throat with difficulty breathing, erythema multiforme;\u003cbr\u003e • severe breathing difficulties (asthma attacks);\u003cbr\u003e • fixed drug eruption (may appear as round or oval patches of redness and swelling of the skin), blisters (hives), itching.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Since \u003cu\u003eBREXIDOL Unidie\u003c\/u\u003e patch is applied directly to the affected area, the risk of having side effects that affect the whole body (systemic), such as stomach or intestinal problems, is lower than when taking piroxicam by mouth. If during use you experience side effects that affect the whole body (systemic), contact your doctor for more information and stop the therapy.\u003cbr\u003e   \u003cbr\u003eIf medicated plasters are not used correctly, are used on large areas of skin and\/or for a very long period of time, such effects may still occur.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eReporting of side effects\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
