The new dose will be defined by your doctor.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e If you have problems with urination (such as spinal cord injury, prostatic hyperplasia or bladder problems), ask your doctor for advice.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e If you are an epileptic patient or a patient at risk of convulsions, you should seek medical advice.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e If you need to have an allergy test, ask your doctor if you should stop taking Cetirizine Sandoz for a few days before the test. This medicine may affect the result of your allergy test.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e No clinically significant interactions have been observed between alcohol (at blood levels of 0.5 per thousand (g\/l) corresponding to one glass of wine) and cetirizine used in recommended doses. However, no safety data are available when higher doses of cetirizine and alcohol are taken simultaneously. \u003cbr\u003eTherefore, as with all antihistamines, it is recommended to avoid taking Cetirizine Sandoz concomitantly with alcohol.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eChildren\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Do not give this medicine to children under 6 years of age because the tablet formulation does not allow for the necessary dose adjustment.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003ePossible side effects\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eStop taking Cetirizine Sandoz and seek medical help immediately if you experience symptoms such as:\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e • swelling of the mouth, face and\/or throat\u003cbr\u003e • difficulty breathing (chest tightness or wheezing)\u003cbr\u003e • sudden drop in blood pressure resulting in fainting or shock.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Symptoms may be signs of allergic reaction, anaphylactic shock and angioedema.
