It belongs to a group of medicines known as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Diclofenac Teva is used for the short-term, symptomatic local treatment of acute pain associated with muscle strains, sprains, or bruises of the arms and legs following trauma, such as sports injuries, in adolescents aged 16 years and older and in adults.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWhat you need to know before taking the medicine\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003e\u003cu\u003eDo not\u003c\/u\u003e use Diclofenac Teva:\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e - if you are allergic to diclofenac, propylene glycol, butylhydroxytoluene or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6);\u003cbr\u003e - if you are allergic to any other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs, e.g. acetylsalicylic acid or ibuprofen); \u003cbr\u003e- if you have ever experienced asthma, hives, swelling of the skin and mucous membranes or swelling and irritation inside the nose after taking acetylsalicylic acid or any other NSAID;\u003cbr\u003e - if you suffer from active gastric or duodenal ulcer;\u003cbr\u003e - if she is in the last three months of pregnancy;\u003cbr\u003e - in children or adolescents under 16 years of age;\u003cbr\u003e - on damaged skin (e.g. skin abrasions, cuts, burns), infected or affected by exudative dermatitis or eczema.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWarnings and precautions\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Diclofenac Teva Diclofenac Teva:\u003cbr\u003e - if you suffer or have suffered in the past from bronchial asthma or allergies, you may experience cramps in the bronchi (bronchospasm), which makes breathing difficult;\u003cbr\u003e - if you notice a rash that develops after applying the medicated plaster. Therefore, the likelihood of systemic side effects (such as gastrointestinal, liver, or kidney problems, or difficulty breathing) is very low.\u003cbr\u003e However, particularly when the medicated plaster is used on large areas of skin and for long periods of time, the appearance of systemic side effects is possible.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eReporting of side effects\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e If you experience any side effects, including any not listed in this leaflet, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
