Shake the narrow end of the pipette to ensure the contents are within the widest part of the pipette. Break the seal at the top of the spot-on pipette along the marked line. Part the dog's fur until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette directly against the exposed skin and squeeze gently a few times to empty the contents. Repeat in one or two different places on the dog's back. Excessive wetting with the product may cause a sticky appearance of the hair at the application site. However, if this occurs, it will disappear within 24 hours of application. For optimal control of flea and\/or tick infestations, the treatment program may be based on the local epidemiological situation.
