{"product_id":"falvin-2-crematubo-30-g","title":"FALVIN 20 MG\/G CREAM TUBE 30 G","description":"\u003cb\u003eName\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eFalvin 20 mg\/g cream\u003cbr\u003e Falvin 20 mg\/ml cutaneous spray, solution\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Fenticonazole nitrate\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWhat is it and what is it for?\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Falvin contains the active substance fenticonazole nitrate.\u003cbr\u003e It belongs to a group of medicines called \"antifungals\" for skin use and works against infections caused by fungi.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Falvin is used locally (topical use) to treat the following conditions: \u003cbr\u003e• skin infections caused by fungi called dermatophytes ( \u003cem\u003eTrichophyton\u003c\/em\u003e , \u003cem\u003eMicrosporum\u003c\/em\u003e , \u003cem\u003eEpidermophyton\u003c\/em\u003e dermatomycosis) located in different parts of the body: ringworm of the hair ( \u003cem\u003etinea capitis\u003c\/em\u003e ), ringworm of the body ( \u003cem\u003etinea corporis\u003c\/em\u003e ), ringworm of the groin ( \u003cem\u003etinea cruris\u003c\/em\u003e ), ringworm of the foot ( \u003cem\u003etinea pedis\u003c\/em\u003e also called athlete's foot), ringworm of the hand ( \u003cem\u003etinea manuum\u003c\/em\u003e ), ringworm of the face ( \u003cem\u003etinea faciei\u003c\/em\u003e ), ringworm affecting the hair follicles ( \u003cem\u003etinea barbae\u003c\/em\u003e ), ringworm of the nails ( \u003cem\u003etinea unguium\u003c\/em\u003e );\u003cbr\u003e • skin infections caused by fungi of the Candida genus (candidiasis such as intertrigo, perleche, facial candidiasis, diaper candidiasis, perineal and scrotal candidiasis);\u003cbr\u003e • infections localized in some parts of the male genitals (balanitis, balanoposthitis);\u003cbr\u003e • localized nail infections (onychia and paronychia); \u003cbr\u003e• infection caused by fungi called \"pityriasis versicolor\" (from \u003cem\u003ePityrosporum orbiculare\u003c\/em\u003e and \u003cem\u003eP. ovale\u003c\/em\u003e );\u003cbr\u003e • ear infections caused by fungi (Candida or mold otomycosis), only if there are no lesions in a part of the ear called the eardrum;\u003cbr\u003e • skin infection called \"erythrasma\";\u003cbr\u003e • infections caused by fungi (mycosis) which also present bacterial superinfections (from Gram-positive bacteria).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Talk to your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after a short time of treatment.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWhat you need to know before taking the medicine\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eDo not use Falvin:\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e - if you are allergic to fenticonazole nitrate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWarnings and precautions\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if:\u003cbr\u003e - you are pregnant or breastfeeding, in both cases Falvin must be used under the supervision of a doctor (see section \"Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility\"); \u003cbr\u003e- if you experience any irritation or sensitivity to the product, treatment should be discontinued; consult your doctor who will recommend appropriate therapy;\u003cbr\u003e - prolonged use, for example 3-4 weeks, of medicines for local use (topical use) can cause allergic reactions (sensitization phenomena).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Falvin is for external use only. Do not apply to mucous membranes or broken\/damaged skin. Avoid contact with eyes; if this occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Falvin contains excipients with known effects that require special warnings and precautions (see section \"Important information about some excipients\").\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003ePossible side effects\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.\u003cbr\u003e   \u003cbr\u003eWhen used as recommended, Falvin is poorly absorbed, and no systemic side effects are expected.
