{"product_id":"falvin-2","title":"FALVIN 20 MG\/G SKIN SPRAY SOLUTION 30 ML BOTTLE","description":"\u003cb\u003eName\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eFalvin 2% cream\u003cbr\u003e Falvin 2% cutaneous spray, solution\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e fenticonazole nitrate\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWhat it is and what it is used for\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Falvin contains the active substance fenticonazole nitrate.\u003cbr\u003e It belongs to a group of medicines called “antifungals” for dermatological use and acts against infections caused by fungi.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Falvin is used locally (topical use) to treat the following conditions: \u003cbr\u003e• skin infections caused by fungi called dermatophytes (Trichophyton, Microsporum, Epidermophyton dermatomycosis) located in different parts of the body: ringworm of the hair (tinea capitis), ringworm of the body (tinea corporis), ringworm of the groin (tinea cruris), ringworm of the foot (tinea pedis also called athlete's foot), ringworm of the hand (tinea manuum), ringworm of the face (tinea faciei), ringworm affecting the hair follicles (tinea barbae), ringworm of the nails (tinea unguium)\u003cbr\u003e • skin infections caused by fungi of the Candida genus (candidiasis such as intertrigo, perleche, facial candidiasis, diaper candidiasis, perineal and scrotal candidiasis)\u003cbr\u003e • infections localized in some parts of the male genitals (balanitis, balanoposthitis)\u003cbr\u003e • localized nail infections (onychia and paronychia)\u003cbr\u003e • infection caused by fungi called “pityriasis versicolor” (from Pityrosporum orbiculare and P. ovale) \u003cbr\u003e• ear infections caused by fungi (Candida or mold otomycosis), only if there are no lesions in a part of the ear called the eardrum\u003cbr\u003e • skin infection called “erythrasma”\u003cbr\u003e • infections caused by fungi (mycosis) which also present bacterial superinfections (from Gram-positive bacteria).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Talk to your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after a short time of treatment.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWhat you need to know before taking the medicine\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eDo not use Falvin\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e - if you are allergic to the active substance or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6)\u003cbr\u003e - if you are pregnant (see section “Pregnancy and breast-feeding”).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWarnings and precautions\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Falvin.\u003cbr\u003e The use, especially if prolonged, of medicines for local use (topical use) can cause allergic reactions (sensitization phenomena). \u003cbr\u003eIn this case, stop treatment and consult your doctor who will recommend an appropriate therapy.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e After applying Falvin to the lesion you may experience a slight burning sensation which disappears quickly.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003ePossible side effects\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e When used as recommended, Falvin is only poorly absorbed and no side effects that may affect the entire organism (systemic effects) are expected. Prolonged use of local medicines (topical use) may cause sensitization phenomena (see paragraph “Warnings and precautions”).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e The following side effects have been observed with Falvin:\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eVery rare (may affect up to 1 in 10,000 people)\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e • redness of the skin (erythema)\u003cbr\u003e • itching\u003cbr\u003e • skin rash\u003cbr\u003e • rash and redness of the skin (erythematous rash)\u003cbr\u003e • skin irritation \u003cbr\u003e• burning sensation of the skin.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eReporting of side effects\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
