Replace if defective.\u003cbr\u003e Remove the cap from the metered dose aerosol inhaler (MDI). Shake the MDI.\u003cbr\u003e Insert MDI into the “Proper Fit” universal adapter and make sure it fits tightly.\u003cbr\u003e Remove the inhalation chamber cover.\u003cbr\u003e Insert the mask into the mouthpiece of the inhalation chamber.\u003cbr\u003e Check that the safety exhalation valve opens (otherwise replace the mask).\u003cbr\u003e Apply the mask to your face and make sure it fits tightly.\u003cbr\u003e If the patient can cooperate, place the mouthpiece only in the mouth and make sure it is sealed properly.\u003cbr\u003e Inhale and exhale normally.\u003cbr\u003e Then press the inhaler once and begin to inhale slowly.\u003cbr\u003e Observe the VISION VALVE carefully: its movement indicates the act of inhalation.\u003cbr\u003e After pressing the inhaler, keep the mask tightly closed to your face for at least 5 breaths. \u003cbr\u003eBefore pressing the inhaler again, wait and repeat this step following the inhaler's or doctor's instructions. Always follow the dosage prescribed by your doctor.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eCleaning, disinfection and sterilization\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Wash before first use and at least once a week following the instructions.\u003cbr\u003e Remove all parts as shown and open the chamber.\u003cbr\u003e Soak the parts for 15 minutes in clean warm water and mild detergent.\u003cbr\u003e Shake gently.\u003cbr\u003e Rinse all parts with clean water.
