{"product_id":"foille-scottature-crema-derm-29-5-g","title":"FOILLE BURN CREAM 29.5 G TUBE","description":"\u003cb\u003eName\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eFoille Burns cream\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e benzyl alcohol, benzocaine, chloroxylenol\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWhat it is and what it is used for\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Foille Scorature is a medicine for use on the skin, which contains benzocaine (capable of relieving pain, burning and itching on the skin), benzyl alcohol (with a disinfectant action and capable of calming pain) and chloroxylenol (with a disinfectant action).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Foille Scorature is used:\u003cbr\u003e • in case of redness of the skin due to excessive and prolonged exposure to the sun (sunburn), small burns, skin irritations caused by various chemical-physical agents, insect bites;\u003cbr\u003e • in the dressing of superficial lesions (grazes and abrasions) and superficial skin wounds.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Talk to your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after a short time of treatment.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWhat you need to know before taking the medicine\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eDo not use Foille Burns\u003c\/b\u003e \u003cbr\u003e- if you are allergic to benzyl alcohol, benzocaine, chloroxylenol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6);\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e This medicine should not be applied to the eyes.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWarnings and precautions\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Foille Scorature.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Foille Scorature should only be used on the skin (for external use), on superficial, non-extensive lesions and for a short period of time.\u003cbr\u003e In the following cases, always use this medicine only after consulting your doctor:\u003cbr\u003e - if you have deep or severe wounds, numerous insect bites,\u003cbr\u003e - when a blister with liquid forms or the surface of the skin is burned (severe burns) or particularly extensive minor burns;\u003cbr\u003e - in children between 6 months and 2 years of age (see “Children”);\u003cbr\u003e - if you are pregnant or breastfeeding (see “Pregnancy and breastfeeding”).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Avoid contact with eyes.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eThe effectiveness and safety of benzocaine depends on correct dosing, so you should use the smallest amount of medicine needed to achieve pain relief.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Apply Foille Burns with caution if you have severely damaged mucous membranes or if you experience redness (inflammation), in order to avoid excessive absorption of benzocaine into the body.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Avoid prolonged use of Foille Burns, especially on large surfaces. The use, especially if prolonged, of medicines on the skin (products for topical use) can give rise to irritation or allergy phenomena (sensitization). In this case, stop the treatment and consult your doctor in order to receive an appropriate therapy.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e If the lesion does not improve after a few days, if the redness, pain or swelling gets worse or if an infection occurs, stop using the medicine and contact your doctor immediately.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Consult your doctor even if these disorders have occurred in the past.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eChildren\u003c\/b\u003e \u003cbr\u003eFoille Scorature should not be used in children under 6 months of age.\u003cbr\u003e In children between 6 months and 2 years of age, use this medicine only after consulting your doctor (see “Warnings and precautions”).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003ePossible side effects\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e The use of Foille Scorature, especially if prolonged, can give rise to allergic phenomena (sensitization), with the appearance of redness and itching. In this case, stop the treatment and contact your doctor to receive an appropriate therapy.\u003cbr\u003e Rarely, a high absorption of benzocaine can cause, especially in children and the elderly, the appearance of cyanosis, or a bluish color particularly evident on the lips and fingers. In this case, contact the nearest hospital.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Following the instructions in the package leaflet reduces the risk of side effects.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eReporting of side effects\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
