Neutralizing excess acid in the stomach to relieve pain and discomfort;\u003cbr\u003e 2. Symptoms may include abdominal pain, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, itchy skin, rash, itching, dizziness, swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, and difficulty breathing.\u003cbr\u003e   \u003cbr\u003eIngestion of large amounts of calcium carbonate, a component of this medicine, may cause an increase in blood pH (alkalosis), too much calcium in the blood (hypercalcemia), increased secretion of stomach acid, and constipation.
