{"product_id":"iridina-due-collirio-10-ml-0-5-mg-ml","title":"IRIDINA DUE 0.5 MG\/ML EYE DROPS SOLUTION 10 ML BOTTLE","description":"\u003cb\u003eName\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eIridina Due 0.5mg\/ml eye drops, solution\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Naphazoline hydrochloride\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWhat it is and what it is used for\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Iridina Due contains the active substance naphazoline hydrochloride which belongs to a group of medicines called decongestants.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Iridina Due eye drops are used to treat irritation, burning, redness of the eye, with excessive tearing and sensitivity to light.\u003cbr\u003e   \u003cbr\u003eContact your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 4 days of treatment.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWhat you need to know before taking the medicine\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eDo not use Iridina Due\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e - if you are allergic to naphazoline hydrochloride or other closely related chemical substances (in particular xylometazoline, oxymetazoline, tetryzoline) or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6);\u003cbr\u003e - if you suffer from glaucoma (increased pressure inside the eye) or other eye diseases;\u003cbr\u003e - in children under twelve years of age (see “Children”);\u003cbr\u003e - if you are being treated with medicines for depression (called monoamine oxidase inhibitors) (see “Other medicines and Iridina Due”).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWarnings and precautions\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Iridina Due if you suffer from:\u003cbr\u003e - high blood pressure (hypertension),\u003cbr\u003e - hyperthyroidism (excessive function of the thyroid gland),\u003cbr\u003e - heart disease, \u003cbr\u003e- diabetes (hyperglycemia),\u003cbr\u003e - bronchial asthma.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e If symptoms persist or worsen after a short period of treatment, consult your doctor. Do not use the medicine for more than 4 consecutive days.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Iridina Due is not suitable for the treatment of infections, pus, foreign bodies in the eye, mechanical, chemical and heat damage. Such conditions require medical intervention.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Take special care if you wear contact lenses (see “Iridina Due contains benzalkonium chloride”).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eChildren\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Do not give this medicine to children under 12 years of age (see “Do not use Iridina Due”).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Keep the medicine out of the reach and sight of children as accidental ingestion may cause serious side effects. In these cases, immediate medical intervention is always necessary (see also “If you use more Iridina Due than you should”).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003ePossible side effects\u003c\/b\u003e \u003cbr\u003eLike all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e The use of the medicine can sometimes cause dilation of the pupils, general systemic effects on the body such as high blood pressure (hypertension), heart problems, excess sugar in the blood (hyperglycaemia), increased pressure inside the eye, nausea, headache.\u003cbr\u003e Hypersensitivity (allergy) phenomena may rarely occur. In this case, stop treatment and consult your doctor.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Following the instructions in the package leaflet reduces the risk of side effects.\u003cbr\u003e These side effects are usually transitory. However, when they occur, it is advisable to consult your doctor or pharmacist.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eReporting of side effects\u003c\/b\u003e \u003cbr\u003eIf you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
