MAG2 allows a rapid restoration of the amount of magnesium needed by the body (physiological magnesium quota), ensuring effective treatment of magnesium deficiency.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Other disorders caused by magnesium deficiency may include: irritability, nervousness, stomach and intestinal disorders, irregular heartbeat.\u003cbr\u003e In all these cases it is necessary to take magnesium to obtain an improvement in the symptoms.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e For further information see the section \"Health Education Notes\".\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Talk to your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after a short time of treatment.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWhat you need to know before taking the medicine\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eDo not take MAG2\u003c\/b\u003e \u003cbr\u003e- if you are allergic to magnesium pidolate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6);\u003cbr\u003e - if you suffer from severe renal insufficiency (severe reduction in kidney function);\u003cbr\u003e - if you are taking certain medicines to treat reduced heart function (digitalis therapy for heart failure).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWarnings and precautions\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Talk to your doctor before taking MAG2 in particular if you are in one of the following situations or suffer from one of the following diseases:\u003cbr\u003e • if you also suffer from calcium deficiency, as the magnesium deficiency must be corrected before taking supplemental calcium;\u003cbr\u003e • if you are pregnant (see \"Pregnancy and breast-feeding\");\u003cbr\u003e • if you need to give MAG2 to children (see \"Use in children\"); \u003cbr\u003e• if your kidney function is reduced (renal insufficiency), as it may be necessary to reduce the dose and carry out checks of kidney function and blood magnesium concentration (magnesemia) (see \"Use in patients with impaired renal function\").
