{"product_id":"rinogutt-spray-nasale-10-ml-1-mg-ml-con-eucaliptolo","title":"RINOGUTT \"1 MG\/ML NASAL SPRAY, SOLUTION WITH EUCALYPTOL\" 10 ML BOTTLE","description":"\u003cb\u003eName\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eRinogutt 1 mg\/ml nasal spray solution with eucalyptol\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Tramazoline\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWhat it is and what it is used for\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Rinogutt contains tramazoline.\u003cbr\u003e Rinogutt is used \u003cb\u003ein adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over\u003c\/b\u003e as a nasal mucosa decongestant, i.e. to clear a blocked nose due to swelling of the nasal mucosa.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Contact your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 4 days.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eWhat you need to know before taking the medicine\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eDo not use Rinogutt\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e - if you are allergic to tramazoline or any of the other ingredients of this medicine, in particular to benzalkonium chloride (listed in section 6);\u003cbr\u003e - if you suffer from dryness of the nasal passages (rhinitis sicca);\u003cbr\u003e - if you suffer from heart disease and severely elevated blood pressure;\u003cbr\u003e - if you suffer from a form of glaucoma, a disease characterized by an increase in the pressure of the fluid inside the eye (acute angle glaucoma);\u003cbr\u003e - if you suffer from a thyroid disease which can cause weight loss, tiredness, weakness (hyperthyroidism);\u003cbr\u003e - if you suffer from an enlarged prostate, the gland that produces seminal fluid in men (prostatic hypertrophy);\u003cbr\u003e - if you have had head surgery performed through the nose;\u003cbr\u003e - if under 12 years of age; \u003cbr\u003e- if you are pregnant or breast-feeding (see section “Pregnancy and breast-feeding”).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWarnings and precautions\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Rinogutt:\u003cbr\u003e - if you are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or tricyclic antidepressants (medicines to treat depression);\u003cbr\u003e - if you are taking vasopressor and antihypertensive medicines (medicines to treat heart disease and high blood pressure) (see section “Other medicines and Rinogutt”).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Use Rinogutt only after consulting your doctor:\u003cbr\u003e - if he is elderly;\u003cbr\u003e - if you suffer from pheochromocytoma (a tumor of the adrenal glands that causes high blood pressure);\u003cbr\u003e - if you suffer from porphyria (a disease that interferes with the production of haemoglobin, the substance that allows red blood cells to carry oxygen in the blood, symptoms of which include excessive sensitivity to light, paralysis and severe stomach pain).\u003cbr\u003e   \u003cbr\u003eBe very careful if you suffer from heart or circulatory diseases, high blood pressure, diabetes mellitus and enlarged prostate gland (prostatic hypertrophy) (see section “Do not use Rinogutt”).\u003cbr\u003e Consult your doctor even if these disorders have occurred in the past.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eDo not\u003c\/b\u003e use Rinogutt by mouth.\u003cbr\u003e Avoid contact of the liquid with the eyes to avoid irritation.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eChildren\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Do not give this medicine to children under 12 years of age.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003ePossible side effects\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.\u003cbr\u003e If you use Rinogutt for long periods this can be harmful. The use, especially if prolonged, of products to be administered locally can give rise to irritation, inflammation and reduction of the thickness of the nasal mucosa; in this case, \u003cb\u003estop\u003c\/b\u003e the treatment and consult your doctor to establish an appropriate therapy. \u003cbr\u003eProlonged use can also lead to addiction to the drug.\u003cbr\u003e When the drug wears off, swelling of the nasal mucosa (nasal edema) may occur.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e The following side effects may occur following the use of Rinogutt:\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eCommon (may affect up to 1 in 10 people)\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e - burning inside the nose.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eUncommon (may affect up to 1 in 100 people):\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e - restlessness;\u003cbr\u003e - heachache;\u003cbr\u003e - sensation of increased heartbeat (palpitations);\u003cbr\u003e - swelling of the nasal mucosa (nasal edema);\u003cbr\u003e - nasal dryness;\u003cbr\u003e - runny nose (rhinorrhea);\u003cbr\u003e - sneezing;\u003cbr\u003e - nausea.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eRare (may affect up to 1 in 1,000 people):\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e - dizziness;\u003cbr\u003e - alteration of taste (dysgeusia);\u003cbr\u003e - nosebleeds (epistaxis).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eFrequency not known (frequency cannot be estimated from the available data):\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e - allergy (hypersensitivity);\u003cbr\u003e - perception of things that do not exist in reality (hallucinations);\u003cbr\u003e - insomnia; \u003cbr\u003e- drowsiness;\u003cbr\u003e - physical and mental relaxation (sedation);\u003cbr\u003e - alterations in heart rhythm (arrhythmias);\u003cbr\u003e - increased heart rate (tachycardia);\u003cbr\u003e - skin rash;\u003cbr\u003e - itching;\u003cbr\u003e - swelling of the skin (skin edema*);\u003cbr\u003e - swelling of the mucous membranes (mucosal edema*);\u003cbr\u003e - increased blood pressure;\u003cbr\u003e - fatigue.\u003cbr\u003e * as a symptom of hypersensitivity.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eReporting of side effects\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
