aquagel powder

Gelling powder for the preparation of gelled water to hydrate and re-educate swallowing function in subjects with swallowing disorders.
It does not contain GMOs (genetically modified organisms).

Ingredients
Dextrose; gelling agents: E412 (guar gum); E410 (carob bean gum); E415 (xanthan gum); E407 (carrageenans); sweetener: aspartame; orange colouring E110; orange flavouring.

How to use
Dissolve 1 sachet of powder in ½ litre of natural water, bring to the boil (you can also do this in the microwave) and leave to cool in the fridge until it gels.
The amount varies depending on the patient's needs: follow your doctor's instructions. For hydration, we generally recommend ½-1 liter of Acquagel per day. Use cold. Each sachet of Acquagel is pre-measured with 5g of powder to prepare ½ liter of gelled water. Adhering to the recommended proportions is essential for a successful preparation.

Warnings
Use under medical supervision. Do not use in children under 3 years of age. Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Coloring agent E122: may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children. Contains a source of phenylalanine.

Conservation
The sachets should be stored at room temperature. The jellied water preparation should be refrigerated and consumed within 48 hours.
