Actinic
CE medical device, class I. Lotion that protects against both UVB and UVA rays. Contains broad-spectrum photostable filters and is water resistant. Actinica Lotion also has moisturizing properties to improve skin conditions. The absence of perfume and conventional polyethylene glycol (PEG) emulsifiers ensures good tolerability of the fluid and the possibility, therefore, of using it even on the most sensitive skin.
How to use
Apply a generous amount of Actinica Lotion every morning and all year round to all areas of the skin that are exposed to the sun during the day. Use Actinica before applying cosmetic products (allow Actinica Lotion to absorb into the skin for a few minutes). Repeat the application after prolonged contact with water or in the presence of heavy sweating. Avoid direct exposure to the sun and wear protective clothing. The skin surface varies from person to person; the following figure provides a rough indication of the dose to use. Using a smaller amount of product may reduce the protective efficacy.
For optimal distribution of the product and a pleasant sensation on the skin, apply a first dose of product to the face and repeat the application after 5–10 minutes. Caution: do not leave more than 10–15 minutes between the two applications. The indications regarding the quantity of product to apply to the face, scalp, etc. can be used as a reference to determine the dose necessary for other skin areas. When using for the first time, it is necessary to press the dispenser several times to dispense the fluid, however the first few dispensings do not provide the full dose. Press slowly to obtain the full dose.
Precautions for use
Undesirable effects of one of the components of Actinica Lotion cannot be ruled out. If irritation, rash or a sunburn-like reaction occurs after a short exposure to the sun, this would indicate that the product causes undesirable effects. In this case, treatment should be stopped and it is advisable to contact a doctor. Avoid any contact with the eyes as Actinica Lotion may cause a burning sensation in case of direct contact with the eyes. In this case, rinse the eyes with plenty of water. It is also advisable to wear sunglasses with anti-UV protection to protect the eyes.
Use in combination with mosquito repellent products
If you use Actinica Lotion in combination with a mosquito repellent, apply Actinica Lotion first. Wait approximately 20 minutes before applying the mosquito repellent. In this case, please note that the protection provided by Actinica Lotion may be reduced.
Special warnings
The UV photoprotective filters contained in Actinica Lotion can stain clothing, plastics and other materials, such as swimming pool film. It is therefore recommended not to apply Actinica Lotion immediately before getting dressed.
