Description
Low phenylalanine protein substitute based on Glycomacropeptide (GMP) isolated from casein, integrated with a selected blend of essential and non-essential amino acids, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals, with sweetener. Indicated for the dietary management of children over three years of age and adults with confirmed hyperphenylalaninemia, including phenylketonuria.

How to use
Dissolve one sachet of Afenil GMP UP Shake in at least 80 ml of water or other permitted liquids. Mix well. For best results, it is recommended to use a shaker. Once reconstituted, it is best to consume the product immediately. If necessary, the reconstituted product can be stored for 6 hours in the refrigerator and mixed well before use.

Warnings
Afenil GMP UP Shake must be used under medical supervision by subjects with confirmed hyperphenylalaninemia including phenylketonuria. Afenil GMP UP Shake cannot be used as the sole source of nutrition. The product may pose health risks if consumed by subjects who do not have the specific disorder for which it is indicated. All Glycomacropeptide-based mixtures are a natural source of Phenylalanine. Use with caution in children aged 3 to 6 years. Keep out of reach of children.

Conservation
Store the product in a cool, dry place, away from light and direct heat sources. The minimum shelf life refers to the product correctly stored in its intact packaging.
