DescriptionProtein-free pasta. Food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of Chronic Kidney Failure (CRF). Indicated for the dietary management of Phenylketonuria. Indicated for the dietary management of Parkinson's disease (treated with levodopa). The product's composition makes it suitable for all three patient categories. Specifically, it has been specially formulated with ingredients low in protein, sodium, phosphorus, and potassium to meet the nutritional needs of patients with CKD; the product's composition also includes a reduced phenylalanine content for the dietary management of patients with Phenylketonuria. Furthermore, the product, thanks to its limited protein content, is also suitable for the dietary management of patients with Parkinson's disease treated with levodopa, as it does not interfere with the absorption of this amino acid. For patients undergoing levodopa therapy, the degree of any dysphagia and any malnutrition problems that may arise under conditions of protein restriction must be evaluated.

How to use
Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling water (about 1 litre per 100g of pasta), stir and boil for the time indicated on the package or until cooked to your liking, then drain.
Warnings
The product must be used under medical supervision and cannot be used as the sole source of nutrition.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources and sunlight.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months.
