La Vitamina D viene sintetizzata, per la maggior parte, a livello della cute umana (80-90%) in seguito all’ esposizione ai raggi solari (in particolare alle radiazioni ultraviolette) e in minima parte viene introdotta con la dieta attraverso diversi alimenti (10-20%) che, purtroppo vengono raramente consumati dai bambini dopo lo svezzamento.
L’insufficiente esposizione solare durante la stagione estiva, favorito anche da creme anti solari che, per proteggere la pelle dei bambini, non fanno passare i raggi ultravioletti, rappresenta il principale fattore di rischio di carenza di Vitamina D nei neonati, lattanti al seno e bambini piccoli tanto che la Società Italiana di Pediatria, la Società Italiana di Pediatria Preventiva e Sociale e la Federazione Italiana dei Medici Pediatri, al fine di soddisfare il loro fabbisogno giornaliero, consigliano la profilassi con tale vitamina per tutto il primo anno di vita indipendentemente dall’allattamento ed eventualmente per alcuni anni successivi.
BABYVIT®-D GOCCE, fornisce una forma liquida altamente assorbibile di vitamina D3 con un ottimo sapore di arancia che HealthAid ha, appositamente, sviluppato per neonati, lattanti e bambini piccoli al fine di aiutarli a soddisfare le loro esigenze quotidiane di vitamina D.
Modo d'uso
Neonati allattati al seno, neonati e bambini fino a 5 anni di età, 10 gocce al giorno (equivalenti a 0,5 ml) da assumere per via orale o da aggiungere ad acqua o succo.
