This bacterium is normally present in the vagina of a healthy woman and by implanting and multiplying on the vaginal mucosa, in addition to restoring the balance of the normally present bacterial flora, it prevents the development of other bacteria that can cause diseases (pathogenic microorganisms).\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\n BACTOCIN is indicated in the treatment of the following vaginal disorders:\u003cbr\u003e\n - infections (vaginitis, vulvovaginitis, vaginitis associated with ovarian failure, infantile vaginitis, senile vaginitis);\u003cbr\u003e\n - itching (vulvar itching);\u003cbr\u003e\n - increased secretions (hypofolliculin leukorrhea);\u003cbr\u003e\n - alteration of the mucosa (vaginal dystrophy).\u003cbr\u003e\n - infections caused by a protozoan ( \u003cem\u003eTrichomonas\u003c\/em\u003e vaginitis), in association with other medicines that prevent the growth of bacteria (chemotherapeutics and antibiotics).\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\n Talk to your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after a short time.\u003cbr\u003e\r \n\u003cb\u003eWhat you need to know before taking the medicine\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n \u003cb\u003eDo not use BACTOCIN\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n - if you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).\u003cbr\u003e\n \u003cb\u003eWarnings and precautions\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using BACTOCIN.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\n Do not use BACTOCIN to replace antibiotic or chemotherapy therapy, used to treat infections, but to complement it.
