Description
Food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of infants with minor gastrointestinal disorders such as colic, abdominal distension and constipation, which may occur in the first months of life.
The BBmilk DG formulation improves stool consistency thanks to the presence of galactooligosaccharides (GOS) and beta-palmitate. Its reduced lactose content promotes reduced intestinal gas formation. Additionally, hydrolyzed whey proteins facilitate faster gastric emptying.
BBmilk DG also contains 2'-fucosyllactose (HMO) and nucleotides.
BBmilk DG is suitable for use as the sole source of nutrition for infants from birth to 6 months of age, if they cannot be breastfed. After 6 months of age, or in any case starting from weaning, BBmilk DG is suitable as part of a diversified complementary diet and cannot be used as the sole source of nutrition. Weaning should only be initiated under the direction of a pediatrician.

How to use
Preparing the bottle:
- before preparing the bottle, wash and dry your hands thoroughly and sterilize the bottle, teat and ring;
- shake the package before opening it, pour the required amount of milk into the bottle and heat in a bain-marie to a temperature of approximately 37°C;
- no boiling is necessary as the product is already sterilized;
- after feeding, wash the bottle, teat and ring thoroughly.
Dosage: as recommended by the pediatrician based on the specific needs of the infant.

Warnings
Breast milk is the best food for infants and should be encouraged and used for as long as possible. If breastfeeding is not possible or not sufficient, the infant should be fed a formula suited to his or her needs, after consulting a pediatrician.
- BBmilk DG must not be administered parenterally.
- BBmilk DG must only be used under the supervision of a pediatrician.
- Improper preparation and storage may cause discomfort or health risks to the infant.
- Follow the instructions carefully.
- It is recommended to prepare the milk only at mealtime and to consume it within two hours.
- Do not heat or boil the milk once prepared.
- Do not reuse any milk left over after the meal.
- The product is UHT sterilized and packaged in a protective atmosphere.

Conservation
The closed package of BBmilk DG should be stored in a dry place away from heat sources.
Once opened, the package must be kept in the refrigerator and consumed within 24 hours.
