Description
Food for special medical purposes, indicated for the dietary management of infants with allergies to cow's milk or soy proteins. BBmilk RISO PRO 0-12 is suitable for infants from birth to 12 months of age.
The BBmilk RISO PRO 0-12 formulation has a reduced allergenic power, as its entire protein content is represented exclusively by enzymatically hydrolysed rice proteins (EU and non-EU origin), which promote better digestibility and tolerability.
BBmilk RISO PRO 0-12 is suitable for use as the sole source of nutrition for infants from birth until the sixth month of life, if they are not breastfed. From the sixth month of life, or in any case starting from weaning, BBmilk Riso Pro 0-12 is suitable as part of a diversified complementary diet. Weaning should only be initiated under the supervision of a pediatrician.

How to use
Preparing the bottle:
- before preparing the bottle, wash and dry your hands thoroughly and sterilize the bottle, teat, and ring.
- boil the required amount of water and pour it into the bottle at a temperature of 70°C;
- fill the measuring cup with level, unpressed product;
- add the prescribed number of level scoops of powder to the bottle;
- close the bottle and shake it to dissolve the powder;
- before giving it to the infant, check the temperature on the back of your hand; the temperature of the product must not exceed 37°C;
- after use, wash and dry the measuring cup thoroughly.

The quantities are indicative and may vary at the pediatrician's discretion depending on the infant's age and appetite.
One level scoop of BBmilk RISO PRO 0-12 corresponds to 4.8 g equal to 24.1 kcal.
The reconstitution of BBmilk RISO PRO 0-12 is 13.5% and is obtained by adding a level scoop of powder to every 30 ml of water.

Warnings
Breast milk is the best food for infants and should be encouraged and used for as long as possible. If breastfeeding is not possible or not sufficient, the infant should be fed a formula suited to his or her needs, after consulting a pediatrician.
- BBmilk Riso Pro 0-12 must not be administered parenterally.
- BBmilk Riso Pro 0-12 must only be used under the supervision of a doctor.
Improper preparation and storage may cause discomfort or health risks to the infant. Follow the instructions carefully.
- It is recommended to prepare the product only at mealtime and consume it within two hours.
- Do not heat or boil the product once prepared.
- Do not reuse any product left over after the meal.
- Use only the measuring spoon contained in the package.
- The product is packaged in a protective atmosphere.
- Once opened, the package must be resealed properly and stored in a dry place away from heat sources (not in the refrigerator); the product must be consumed within 3 weeks of opening.
