If the medicine gets into the eye, rinse thoroughly with water.\u003cbr\u003e • Do not apply the product to skin with superficial lesions (abrasions) or to irritated skin.\u003cbr\u003e • Avoid exposure to ultraviolet rays (tanning lamps) and the sun while applying the product.\u003cbr\u003e • In case of severe irritation, consult your doctor who will advise you to use Benzac less frequently, to temporarily interrupt or suspend use of the medicine.\u003cbr\u003e • Benzoyl peroxide may cause swelling and blistering of the skin; stop using the medicine and contact your doctor if any of these symptoms occur. \u003cbr\u003e• You should use caution when applying the medicine to the neck and other sensitive areas.\u003cbr\u003e You may probably feel a slight burning sensation during the first application and, within a few days, slight redness and peeling of the skin may occur.\u003cbr\u003e During the first few weeks of treatment, a sudden increase in scaling occurs in most patients. This is not dangerous and usually subsides within a day or two if treatment is temporarily stopped.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e The use, especially if prolonged, of products for skin use can give rise to sensitization.
