Food supplement based on Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) and K2. Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption/utilization of calcium and phosphorus.
Furthermore, with vitamin K it supports the maintenance of physiological calcium levels in the blood, protecting bones and teeth.
Vitamin D3, extracted from Cladonia rangiferina, or "reindeer lichen," is a plant-based vitamin suitable for any diet. Its best-known function is to increase calcium absorption in the intestine, and thanks to the presence of vitamin K, it is fixed in the bones and not deposited in soft tissue, thus counteracting bone fragility. It also acts as a hormone that regulates various organs and systems. It modulates the inflammatory response and ensures the normal function of the immune system. It can also improve specific immunity, or acquired immunity. It is known as the "sunshine vitamin." However, sun exposure is not always sufficient, so its intake is recommended.
A normal level of Vitamin D helps prevent: muscle weakness, bone fragility, rickets, osteoporosis, muscle pain, increased frequency of infections.
How to take it
We recommend taking 10 drops, preferably early in the day. Consult a healthcare professional to customize your treatment and dosage based on your actual needs or potential vitamin D3 deficiency.
Interactions
Some antihypercholesterolemic drugs (cholestyramine), antacids (containing aluminum), and laxatives prevent the absorption of vitamin D in the intestine. Concomitant use of anticonvulsants or barbiturates and glucocorticosteroids may reduce the effect of vitamin D3.
Contraindications and side effects
Hypersensitivity to cholecalciferol or to any of the excipients listed in the ingredients list. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
