He will evaluate the potential risks and benefits of therapy with BRUNIZINA.\u003cbr\u003e   \u003cbr\u003eIf you use BRUNIZINA for a long time, the normal function of the nasal mucosa and the mucous membranes around the nose (paranasal sinuses) may be altered and your body may become accustomed to this medicine (habituation) and the dose taken will be less effective.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Repeated applications for a long time may cause damage to the mucous membranes. Therefore, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor if you experience no improvement after using BRUNIZINA for a few days.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e The use of BRUNIZINA or similar decongestant products can cause congestion of the mucous membranes (rebound congestion), triggering a vicious circle that can lead to excessive use of the medicine.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Therefore, never exceed the recommended doses.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Use BRUNIZINA with caution and tell your doctor if any of the following conditions apply to you:\u003cbr\u003e - if he is elderly;\u003cbr\u003e - if you are in the first months of pregnancy (See the section \"Pregnancy and breastfeeding\"); \u003cbr\u003e- if you are sensitive. In this case, use a lower concentration of naphazoline, equal to 0.50 parts per thousand, which is obtained by diluting 1 part BRUNIZINA with 3 parts water.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eChildren\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e The use of BRUNIZINA is contraindicated in children \u003cb\u003eunder 12 years of age\u003c\/b\u003e (See the section \"Do not use BRUNIZINA\").\u003cbr\u003e Use this medicine with particular caution in children and at a lower concentration of naphazoline, as overdose is more frequent and presents with more severe symptoms (See the sections \"Use in children\" and \"If you use more BRUNIZINA than you should\").\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003ePossible side effects\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e The following side effects may occur:\u003cbr\u003e - local reactions of intolerance to the drug;\u003cbr\u003e - congestion of the mucous membranes (rebound congestion); \u003cbr\u003e- increased blood pressure (arterial hypertension), slow heartbeat (reflex bradycardia), headache, difficulty urinating (micturition disorders), especially if you use this medicine in high doses or for more than 4 days, as naphazoline can pass throughout the body through inflamed mucous membranes (systemic effects).\u003cbr\u003e If you accidentally ingest this medicine or take it in high doses, you may experience increased blood pressure (arterial hypertension), increased heart rate (tachycardia), chest tightness, and severe headache.
