Cerotto costituito da un soffice tessuto non tessuto di bamboo colorato, in cinque differenti fantasie, specifiche per i più piccoli.
L’adesivo è ipoallergenico, traspirante e si rimuove senza produrre traumi e irritazioni alla delicata pelle dei bambini (anche in caso di utilizzo prolungato).
Non lascia residui dopo la rimozione. È privo di solventi e senza lattice di gomma naturale.
Il tampone centrale di Ortopad è composto da un materiale morbido e sottile, al cui interno è presente uno schermo foto-assorbente che evita la filtrazione della luce.
Si tratta di una caratteristica molto importante per l’efficacia della terapia, perché evita che i muscoli oculari ricevano stimoli o compiano movimenti anomali, che potrebbero determinare un peggioramento della patologia.
La sagoma del cerotto si presenta più stretta e allungata verso l’angolo interno dell’occhio, per adattarsi perfettamente alla zona perioculare. Questo, oltre a mantenere l’occhio al buio, consente anche di indossare correttamente gli occhiali in contemporanea all'occlusore. Le lenti risultano così ben allineate, senza fuori fuoco né discomfort per i giovani pazienti. Inoltre, i due piccoli tagli nella zona che aderisce al setto nasale evitano la formazione di pieghe, riducendo così il rischio di distacco del cerotto durante la terapia.
