{"product_id":"cocarnitin-b12-orale-sosp-10-flaconcini-10-ml-500-mg-2-mg","title":"COCARNITIN B12 \"500 MG + 2 MG POWDER AND SOLVENT FOR ORAL SOLUTION\" 10 BOTTLES WITH TANK CAP\"","description":"\u003cb\u003eName\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eCOCARNITIN B12 500 mg\/2 mg powder and solvent for oral suspension\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e L-Carnitine\/Cobamamide\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWhat it is and what it is used for\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e CoCarnitin B12 contains two active ingredients normally present in the human body: L-Carnitine and Cobamamide (Vitamin B12).\u003cbr\u003e These two substances restore the metabolism of fats, proteins and nucleic acids (DNA and RNA), promoting the production of energy in cells. \u003cbr\u003eThe substances present in CoCarnitin B12 also increase protein production and protein content in muscles and blood, stimulate appetite and body growth and improve the general state of nutrition, especially in malnourished subjects.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e CoCarnitin B12 is indicated in case of:\u003cbr\u003e • weight loss caused by diseases of any kind;\u003cbr\u003e • thinness without apparent cause;\u003cbr\u003e • reduction of appetite (loss of appetite);\u003cbr\u003e • weakness (asthenia);\u003cbr\u003e • convalescence;\u003cbr\u003e • excessive degradation of proteins, fats and sugars (as an anti-catabolic):\u003cbr\u003e - in long-term therapies with cortisone,\u003cbr\u003e - in thyrotoxicosis, a disease due to excessive functioning of the thyroid,\u003cbr\u003e - in situations where the blood contains too little protein (hypoproteinemia) due to liver or kidney disease.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e In children and adolescents, CoCarnitin B12 is indicated in case of: \u003cbr\u003e• states of malnutrition of any kind in children, infants and premature babies;\u003cbr\u003e • growth retardation;\u003cbr\u003e • insufficient weight;\u003cbr\u003e • alterations in the nutritional state of a tissue, an organ or the entire organism (dystrophies);\u003cbr\u003e • absence or reduction of appetite;\u003cbr\u003e • weight loss due to any cause;\u003cbr\u003e • states of debilitation after an infection.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Talk to your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWhat you need to know before taking the medicine\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eDo not take CoCarnitin B12\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e • if you are allergic to L-Carnitine, Cobamamide or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWarnings and precautions\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking CoCarnitin B12.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Tell your doctor if you have anemia, because your doctor will need to establish the exact nature of your anemia before you can take CoCarnitin B12.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eTell your doctor, who will monitor you closely if you have a predisposition for convulsions because treatment with L-Carnitine, one of the active ingredients of CoCarnitin B12 could trigger them; if you already suffer from convulsions, the administration of L-Carnitine could increase the number and\/or severity of convulsive seizures.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Tell your doctor if you have severe kidney problems (severe kidney failure or end-stage renal failure).\u003cbr\u003e In these cases, your doctor will monitor your kidney function during treatment, particularly if prolonged over time (see section “How to take CoCarnitin B12”).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e The characteristics of CoCarnitin B12 can be altered by exposure to light, so prepare the solution and take it immediately after.
