CORYFIN COUGH SEDATIVE contains the active ingredient dropropizine, belonging to the class of cough sedatives, and is used to calm coughs.

What you need to know before taking the medicine
Do not take CORYFIN COUGH SEDATIVO
• If you are allergic to dropropizine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6);
• If your cough is accompanied by a lot of phlegm (bronchial hypersecretion) or you have difficulty eliminating it (reduced mucociliary function);
• If you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking CORYFIN COUGH SEDATIVE.
Do not take CORYFIN COUGH SEDATIVE for long periods of time.
Consult your doctor before taking CORYFIN COUGH SEDATIVE if you suffer from kidney problems.
Children
CORYFIN COUGH SEDATIVE should be used in children under 6 years of age only after consulting your doctor.
Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
The following side effects have been reported rarely with the use of CORYFIN COUGH SEDATIVE:
• nausea or other mild stomach or intestinal discomfort;
• weakness (exhaustion), decrease in normal activities (numbness);
• headache and dizziness.
In these cases, stop treatment and inform your doctor.
