Description
Medical device for topical external use on the skin, indicated as an aid in the keratolytic removal of hyperkeratotic skin layers and psoriatic plaques. Contains 30% salicylic acid dispersed in a highly hydrophobic vehicle, providing rapid action.
The product is intended for use when it is appropriate to eliminate the superficial stratum corneum of hyperkeratotic areas by chemical action, thus proving useful as a treatment in preparation for cryotherapy procedures, for the treatment of psoriatic plaques and localized skin hyperkeratosis (calluses, corns, warts, callous plaques, ichthyosis) which are difficult to resolve in clinical practice.
How to use
Apply the product in a thin layer to the affected area only, once a day or as directed by your doctor. Repeat the treatment for up to 12-14 days; the treatment can be extended as directed by your doctor. If necessary, the included tube can be fitted with a special reducer and cap.
Components
Salicylic acid 30%, white soft paraffin, liquid paraffin, coconut oil, microcrystalline wax, tocopheryl acetate.
Warnings
External use. Do not ingest. Do not use if you have any known or suspected hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. If in doubt, discontinue use and consult your doctor. Keep out of reach of children. Never use on children under three years of age. Do not use on children under 12 years of age unless medically indicated. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, use only as directed by your doctor. Avoid excessive or prolonged use. Do not apply to large areas of the body (>15%) for periods exceeding 5 days unless medically indicated. The product may cause burning and temporary local irritation; if this persists or becomes bothersome, consult your doctor. The product is contraindicated in individuals with known or suspected sensitization to salicylic acid or salicylates. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use the device after the expiration date.

Shelf life after opening: 30 days.
