Complementary feed for cats, Omega 3 fatty acids EPA and DHA of marine origin in high concentrations have proven efficacy in slowing the progression of chronic renal dysfunction, thanks to their antioxidant/anti-inflammatory, antiproliferative at mesangial level, antihypertensive glomerular and antithrombotic activities. Contains a high concentration of EPA and DHA of natural origin (marine fish) associated with Krill oil, and is indicated as a support for maintaining correct renal function, both alone and in combination with diets and specific therapies indicated by the treating Veterinarian.
Ingredients
Pure fish oil (containing minimum 90% omega 3 essential fatty acids of which 80% EPA / DHA), krill oil.
Casing: edible gelatin.
Additives per kg: Vitamin E/racemic alpha-tocopheryl acetate mg 2,500.
Each capsule contains 500 mg of pure fish oil (equivalent to 400 mg of EPA/DHA).
How to use
Administer the product for a minimum initial period of 30 days, following the instructions provided by the Veterinarian, according to the following dosage schedule:
• Cats up to 5 kg body weight: 1 Duomega soft capsule for cats per day.
• Cats over 5 kg body weight: 1 Duomega soft capsule for cats 2 times a day.
Open the capsule and mix the contents with the usual food ration. The capsule can also be administered whole directly to the animal. The administration of can be continued for long periods of time, based on the animal's condition and the judgment of the attending veterinarian.
