Hemorrhoids can be either internal (in the anus) or external (outside the anus);\u003cbr\u003e - to treat irritation (eczema, erythema), lesions (fissures), itching and burning caused by hemorrhoids;\u003cbr\u003e - before and after surgery on the anus or the lower part of the intestine (rectum).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Talk to your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWhat you need to know before taking the medicine\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eDo not use Emorril\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e - if you are allergic to the active substances, to other local anaesthetics, to other corticosteroids or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6);\u003cbr\u003e - in children under 12 years of age.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWarnings and precautions\u003c\/b\u003e \u003cbr\u003eAfter a short period of treatment without appreciable results, consult your doctor. The use, especially if prolonged, of products for cutaneous (local) use can give rise to sensitization phenomena (excessive reaction of the organism to foreign substances with which it has come into contact). In this case, \u003cb\u003estop the treatment\u003c\/b\u003e and consult your doctor to start an appropriate therapy.\u003cbr\u003e If you experience blood loss from the anus (rectal haemorrhage), stop treatment and consult your doctor.\u003cbr\u003e Avoid contact with eyes.\u003cbr\u003e Contact your doctor if you experience blurred vision or other visual disturbances.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eChildren\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e This medicine should not be used in children under 12 years of age (see section 2 “Do not use Emorril”).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003ePossible side effects\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.\u003cbr\u003e With the use of this medicine the following may occur: \u003cbr\u003e- severe allergic reactions (anaphylactic reactions). If you experience difficulty breathing or swelling of the face or throat \u003cb\u003e, contact your nearest hospital immediately\u003c\/b\u003e ;\u003cbr\u003e - allergic reactions recognizable by the appearance of skin lesions, the appearance of itchy bumps on the skin (hives), swelling. If you have an allergic reaction \u003cb\u003e, stop taking this medicine\u003c\/b\u003e ;\u003cbr\u003e - worsening of infections.\u003cbr\u003e - blurred vision with unknown frequency.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eReporting of side effects\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. This includes any possible side effects not listed in this leaflet.
