Adjuvant gel for the treatment of hemorrhoidal disease, intended to alleviate typical symptoms such as pain, itching, burning and irritation.
Thanks to the film-forming properties of its components, it exerts a protective action (barrier effect) on the skin and anal mucosa, preserving the area from the harmful effects of external agents.
Furthermore, thanks to the properties of its components, it is able to maintain the pH unchanged and reduce oxidative stress in the anal area.
Thanks to these characteristics, Emorsan Gel is also useful after proctological surgery, to promote the natural resumption of ordinary activities and physiological healing.

How to use
Wash your hands with a neutral detergent before use. Wash the affected area thoroughly and gently, preferably with a specific intimate cleanser.
Unscrew the cap of the tube. Pierce the seal using the back of the cap. Remove the transparent protective wrapper from the applicator. Screw the rectal applicator onto the opening of the tube. Remove the protective cap and squeeze the tube until the applicator is completely filled, releasing a sufficient amount of product to lubricate the applicator itself. Gently insert the applicator into the rectum. Squeeze the tube until a small amount of product is introduced. Gently remove the applicator from the rectum. Apply a small amount of product to the external area as well. After use, unscrew the applicator from the tube, rinse it with warm running water until all gel residue is removed and dry it before closing it using the protective cap. Close the tube by screwing the cap.
It is recommended to apply Emorsan Gel 2 times a day until remission or disappearance of symptoms. Apply the product for the necessary period, until the symptoms disappear and in any case for a period not exceeding 20 consecutive days.
To reduce the risk of cross-contamination, it is recommended not to share the device with other users.

Components
Aqua, glycerin, hydroxyethyl acrylate/sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer, isohexadecane, phenoxyethanol, dimethicone, squalane, cyclopentaiutoxane, propylene glycol, sodium dehydroacetate, benzoic acid, lactic acid, dehydroacetic acid, Helichrysum italicum extract, Chamomilla recutita extract, ethylhexylglycerin, P. acnes lysate.

Warnings

The medical device is not indicated for subjects with known hypersensitivity to the components present in the formulation.
The product has not been tested during pregnancy and/or breastfeeding. During pregnancy and/or breastfeeding, the product should be used only in case of real need and under the direct supervision of a doctor.

Conservation
Store in a dry place, at room temperature and away from heat.
The expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging and stored correctly.
