Medical surgical device registered number 19898 of the Ministry of Health.
Insecticide for the control of horseflies, flies, midges and mosquitoes that annoy horses.
Active for 14 days in and out of the stable. Remains active even when the horse sweats profusely or is completely washed.
Equi-Spot protects the horse from horseflies, flies, midges and mosquitoes both in the stable and outdoors. Its particular formulation guarantees resistance to water and sweat, making it a practical and effective product. The product has a dual action against blood-sucking arthropods when they come into contact with the treated area: 1) Insecticide/acaricide with prolonged contact times; 2) Irritant for the insect with shorter times: the latter, known as the "antifeeding" effect, manifests itself with the inability of the arthropod to carry out the blood meal and its consequent movement away; Overall, the sum of the two effects protects the horse on average from approximately 80% of bites compared to untreated subjects. The product remains effective even after treatment.

How to use
Remove the spot-on pipettes from the packaging. Bend along the dotted line between the pipettes to remove one. Tear off the notched end of the pipette to be used, holding it pointing up and away from the face and person. Apply the contents of a 10 ml pipette to the animal, as follows:
- 5 ml along the back line, starting from the head (between the ears) along the base of the mane and the midline of the dorsal line to the pelvis (base of the tail);
- 1 ml on the upper part of the forehead, under the forelock;
- 1 ml on the back of each forelimb, between the knee and fetlock (2 ml in total);
- 1 ml on the back of each hind limb, between the hock and fetlock (2 ml in total);

Warnings
Do not put the product in contact with the horse's eyes or mucous membranes.
Do not reapply the product before 14 days.
Do not use on horses whose meat is intended for human consumption.
Do not use on foals under 12 weeks of age.
Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing.
In case of contact with eyes, wash thoroughly with soap and water.
Wash thoroughly with soap and water after applying the product, in case of contact with skin or before eating, drinking, chewing gum or smoking.
Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reusing.
Do not ingest the product.
Avoid contamination of food, drinks, feed and containers intended to contain them.
Do not use simultaneously with other insecticides.
Do not pollute waterways because the product is toxic to fish and the aquatic environment.
Flammable.
Harmful if inhaled or swallowed.
Irritating to skin.
May cause sensitization by skin contact.
Very toxic to aquatic organisms, may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment.
Harmful: May cause lung damage if swallowed.
Keep out of reach of children.
Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs.
Do not eat, drink or smoke when using.
Do not throw residues into drains; do not dispose of the product and the container except with due precautions.
If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show the container or label.

Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place.

First aid
If swallowed: Call a doctor or poison control center immediately. Do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by your doctor or poison control center. Do not give fluids or anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If in eyes: Hold eyes open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first five minutes, then continue rinsing eyes. Call your doctor or poison control center for treatment advice. If on skin or clothing: Remove contaminated clothing; immediately rinse skin with plenty of water for 15 to 20 minutes. Call your doctor or poison control center for treatment advice.

Pharmacodynamic action of the active ingredient: blockade of nerve transmission. Consult a poison control center. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting.
