What it is and what it is used for
Essaven is a vasoprotector.
Essaven is used to treat symptoms attributable to venous insufficiency and capillary fragility.
What you need to know before taking the medicine
Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients. Essaven should not be spread on open skin wounds, eczema and mucous membranes (anal, etc.).
Warnings and precautions
Avoid contact with eyes. For external use only.
The use, especially if prolonged, of products for topical use may give rise to sensitization phenomena. If this occurs, discontinue treatment and institute appropriate therapy.
After a short period of treatment without appreciable results, consult your doctor.
What to do during pregnancy and breastfeeding
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
The use of the preparation during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not contraindicated.
Possible side effects
In very rare cases, allergic reactions may occur, such as exanthema or rash and urticaria. Itching.
Any skin redness, which is extremely rare, disappears spontaneously when the application of the preparation is suspended.
Like all medicines, Essaven can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Following the instructions in the package leaflet reduces the risk of side effects.
If any of the side effects gets serious, or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
