Description
Complete supplement, essential for the integration of the homemade diet, elimination, or BARF without bones of the senior dog. The presence of mineral macroelements (calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine, sodium and potassium), mineral trace elements (zinc, iron, copper, manganese, selenium and iodine) and all vitamins has been carefully considered taking into account the typical deficiencies of traditional homemade diets.
The high intake of antioxidant nutrients (vitamins E and C, Taurine, Echinacea and Panax Ginseng) contributes to the good functioning of the immune system. Inulin, with its prebiotic action, promotes the balance of the intestinal bacterial microflora, reducing the risk of constipation. Cartilage precursors (Chondroitin sulphate and Glucosamine), antioxidants and manganese contribute to the well-being of the joints, often suffering in older animals, while the correct balance of calcium, phosphorus and vitamin D contributes to the health of the skeletal system. The co-presence of Taurine, Carnitine and antioxidant nutrients can improve cardiac function.
ESSENTIAL Senior Dog has a reduced allergenic power, as it does not contain protein sources, and is therefore suitable for use in dogs suffering from allergies or food intolerances.
All ESSENTIAL supplements have been formulated in collaboration with canine and feline nutrition professors at leading Italian universities.
