- Coenzyme Q10: (comprises two metabolites: ubiquinol and ubiquinone) protects lipids from oxidation, maintains the stability of cell membranes by interacting with them and being protected from oxidation by vitamin E, is an adjuvant in the treatment of hypertension, stimulates the immune system, and prevents degenerative brain diseases.
