PIDOSTOP SPRAY FORMULA
Description
Ready-to-use, no-rinse repellent with a spray nozzle for direct application to the hair. It prevents reinfestation of human head lice only after pediculicide treatment. Apply to the hair, nape of the neck, and behind the ears.
How to use
Make sure there are no lice. Use a pediculicide first. Apply the product evenly to clean, dry or towel-dried hair, close to the scalp, making sure to treat the nape of the neck and behind the ears first. Then spray all over the hair like a hairspray. Make sure the scalp and hair are sufficiently moistened.
The application must be repeated after washing the hair.
- Adults: up to 1.05 g of product or approximately 9 sprays per application.
- Children from 0 to 11 years: 0.5 g or approximately 4 sprays per application.
If the biocide is applied to children under 11 years of age, the product must be applied by an adult. Typically, the product should only be applied once a day. If reapplied, the maximum permitted number of applications per day should be observed:
- adults and children over 1 year of age: 3 times a day;
- children aged 0 to 1 year: 2 times a day.
For continued protection: Reapply after 2 days to clean, dry or towel-dried hair. Reapply sooner if hair has been in contact with water (such as after rain or swimming) until there is no longer a risk of infestation.
Warnings
Causes serious eye irritation. After inhalation: Get fresh air. After contact with eyes: Rinse with plenty of water. Consult an ophthalmologist. After ingestion: Give the victim water to drink immediately (up to two glasses). Consult a doctor. Most important symptoms and effects, acute and delayed: Irritant effects. Personal precautions, protective equipment, and emergency procedures: Do not breathe vapors or spray. Avoid contact with the substance. Ensure adequate ventilation. Environmental precautions: Do not discharge unnecessary liquids into drains.
Use repellent safely. Always read the label and product information before use. Do not spray on the face or apply to the eye area. Protect children's eyes and protect them from inhaling the product while spraying. Do not apply to cuts, wounds, or irritated skin. For external use only. Do not invert. Shake before use. Use in well-ventilated areas. Avoid breathing vapors/mist. Synthetic materials should be protected when spraying. Do not flush excess liquids down drains.
Conservation
Store in a dry, well-ventilated place. Keep away from heat and ignition sources. The product should not be stored for prolonged periods at temperatures >40°C.
Shelf life when packaging is intact: 18 months.
