FRONTLINE SPOT ON CATS

Directions
Treatment and prevention of tick (Rhipicephalus spp., Dermacentor spp., Ixodes spp), flea (Ctenocephalides spp) and lice infestations in adult cats and kittens. Fipronil rapidly exerts its lethal action on ticks, preventing the development of the parasite and the possible transmission of infections carried by the tick. It is active against the main tick species present in the country, including Ixodes ricinus, responsible for the transmission of Lyme disease to dogs, cats and humans. Fipronil acts on fleas by rapidly killing the adult forms, thus preventing the deposition of eggs and therefore new infestations. Thanks to its lethal action on adult fleas, fipronil effectively contributes to the control and resolution of Flea Allergic Dermatitis (FAD), which in cats is caused by the sensitizing action of antigens contained in the saliva of these parasites. Furthermore, with a single treatment, fipronil quickly and definitively controls and resolves lice infestations, particularly those caused by Felicola subrostratus, the cat chewing louse.
Dosage
The product is presented in single-dose 0.5 ml pipettes; administer 1 0.5 ml pipette per cat. Break the pre-cut end of the pipette. Apply the product to the skin, preferably in two places, at the base of the neck and between the shoulders, areas where the cat cannot lick itself, avoiding the removal of the product. The contents of the pipette should be applied directly to the skin and not to the fur: press on the walls of the pipette until completely empty. A single application of the product protects the animal from new infestations by ticks, fleas and lice, in particular by ticks: up to 1 month after treatment and by fleas up to 5 weeks after treatment. For correct ectoparasitic prevention, it is advisable to carry out monthly treatments during the periods of greatest seasonality. In the absence of data on safety, the minimum treatment interval must be 4 weeks.
Conservation
Store in a dry place at temperatures not exceeding +30 degrees C.
