Primary polyethylene dressing impregnated with HoneyPRO gel, with 40% medical-grade honey. The formulation is also enriched with vitamins C and E, hypoallergenic medical-grade lanolin, propylene glycol, and PEG 4000. The HydroPRO formulation has an anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effect, creating a moist environment that stimulates epithelialization and reduces scar formation. This facilitates the autolysis of necrotic and devitalized material, helping prepare the wound bed and promoting better epithelial cell migration. The gel gradually dilutes and can be easily removed according to standard wound cleansing protocols, preventing the secondary dressing from adhering to the wound bed.
The polyethylene support allows the passage of exudate to the secondary dressing.
Superficial or partial-thickness burns (first and second degree). Chronic wounds such as pressure ulcers, venous, arterial, and diabetic ulcers. Malignant skin lesions (vegetating ulcers), as an aid in deodorization and/or debridement. Deep, colonized wounds, post-operative and laser wounds; superficial wounds, cuts, abrasions, and donor sites.

How to use
1. Remove the cap, clean the opening of the tube and the top of the cap with an alcohol swab.
2. Push the top of the cap into the aluminum seal covering the nozzle, do not squeeze the tube yet.
Application on the wound
1. Spread a thin layer of product on a sterile gauze or directly on the wound area and periwound skin using a sterile spatula.
2. Cover and secure with the appropriate secondary dressing depending on the amount of exudate.
3. Regularly check the wound and the periwound skin, as prescribed by reference protocols.
4. Renew the dressing when necessary.
Once absorbed, reapply the product (+/- every 24-48 hours).

Warnings
Do not use on patients with known sensitivity to the dressing or any of its components.
1. Do not use if package is opened or damaged. Do not use after the expiration date.
2. Consult a doctor if you feel further intervention is necessary for appropriate wound treatment.
3. Before use, check and clean the wound according to reference protocols.
4. Due to autolytic debridement (the destruction of dead or infected cells), the wound may appear to increase in size after the first few dressing changes. This is normal and occurs as devitalized tissue is removed to prepare the wound bed for healing.
5. Seek medical attention if the patient shows signs of infection (fever, pain) or if the condition of the lesion worsens.
6. Each Presteril dressing is intended for single use only. Used product must be disposed of according to local regulations.
7. Due to the use of natural ingredients, each batch of patches may have a different color (white, yellow, brown); however, this will not affect the effectiveness and/or application of the patch.
8. In case of a serious accident involving the product, report it to the manufacturer and the competent authority.

Conservation
Store at a temperature between 5°C and 30°C. Avoid direct sunlight and humidity.
