Description
HiPP AR is a formula for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of infants with known gastroesophageal junction disorders. Post-feeding reflux is normal in infants. However, some infants regurgitate significant amounts of milk or vomit after feeding. HiPP AR helps prevent these situations thanks to the addition of carob seed gum, which, as a natural thickener, gives the formula a more viscous consistency. Switching to HiPP AR may result in softer stools during the initial use. Use HiPP AR only after consulting your pediatrician.
HiPP AR Special Medical Food is indicated for the dietary management of infants with proven gastroesophageal junction disease. It can be used exclusively from birth and as part of a mixed diet after 6 months.

How to use
Boil the water and let it cool to a temperature of approximately 40°C-50°C.
Pour the water indicated in the dosage table into the bottle.
Fill the supplied measuring cup and level the powder with the leveler or the blade of a clean knife. Pour the recommended amount of powder into the bottle.
Close the bottle and shake it well.
Leave on for about 7 minutes. Allow to cool to about 37°C (98.4°F)—check the temperature.

Indicative dosage table
The amount of milk consumed per bottle may vary from child to child. Recommended amounts and the number of bottles per day are guidelines.
The baby does not necessarily have to finish the bottle.
Use only the measuring spoon provided. One measuring spoon of powder requires 30 ml of water.

Babies need approximately 5 meals a day. Each new solid meal introduced (baby food/pudding) replaces a bottle of milk.

Warnings
Breastfeeding is the best option for your infant. Consult your pediatrician before using any formula for special medical purposes.
Foods for special medical purposes should only be used under medical supervision.
HiPP AR Special Medical Food is indicated for the dietary management of established gastroesophageal junction disease in infants (0-12 months) under medical supervision. It can be used from birth as an exclusive infant formula and after 6 months as part of a mixed diet.
Do not use HiPP AR special medical food if you have a known or suspected cow's milk protein allergy.
HiPP AR Special Medical Formula should provide relief to your infant after a few days of use. If you don't notice any improvement in your reflux symptoms, please contact your pediatrician again.
Prolonged contact between the teeth and gums with liquids containing carbohydrates could cause tooth decay.
For this reason, do not use the bottle as if it were a pacifier.
The product must not be used parenterally.
Follow the instructions for use carefully. Improper preparation or prolonged storage may pose a health risk to the infant. Prepare the milk immediately before each feeding and administer it as soon as it is ready. Never reuse leftover milk. Thoroughly wash the bottle, nipple, and ring. Once the bag is opened, reseal it tightly after each use, store it in a dry place at room temperature, and consume the contents within 3 weeks. Do not heat the product in the microwave (risk of burns).

Conservation
Store in a dry place at room temperature.
Shelf life when packaged intact: 9 months.
Shelf life after opening: 3 weeks.
