Hydralac vaginal ovules

Medical device based on hyaluronic acid sodium salt, polycarbophil, lactic acid, vitamin E, vitamin A, 18-beta-glycyrrhetic acid, tea tree oil, phosphatidylcholine, semi-synthetic triglycerides.

Hydralac Ovuli is a medical device that helps to keep the natural defenses of the vagina intact and facilitates the restoration of the vaginal flora; based on hyaluronic acid and lactic acid, it helps to eliminate the symptoms resulting from an imbalance in vaginal hydration and/or pH.
Hyaluronic acid, present as sodium salt, at a dosage of 10 mg/ovule, has a hydrating and lubricating action against vaginal dryness, facilitating the restoration of a natural and pleasant vaginal environment.
Lactic acid, a component normally present in the vagina, promotes an immediate correction of the pH and facilitates the natural restoration of the delicate vulvo-vaginal ecosystem.
Polycarbophil, once bound to vaginal mucus, is able to constantly release H+ ions which contribute to lowering the pH of the vaginal environment.

Directions
Hydralac ovules are useful in the prevention and treatment of nonspecific vaginal dryness as well as in cases of atrophic vaginitis. Adjuvant in cases of irritation, burning and vaginal itching as well as in vaginal conditions of an inflammatory and infectious nature. Indicated for women of childbearing age, in menopause as well as in perimenopause. The product is compatible with condoms.

Dosage
Introduce 1 ovule into the vagina per day, preferably in the evening before going to bed, for 5-7 days after the end of the menstrual cycle or as otherwise indicated by your doctor.

How to use
1) Wash your intimate parts thoroughly (preferably with both external and internal vaginal douching);
2) Open the package and, after washing your hands thoroughly, remove a single ovule from the blister;
3) Insert the ovule delicately into the vagina, trying to reach it deeply, preferably in a supine position, avoiding accidental leakage.

Conservation
Store the package tightly closed in a dry place, between 5°C and 25°C, away from light and heat sources.

Side effects
Known hypersensitivity to the components.

Warnings
Keep out of reach of children. Do not ingest.
Do not use the product if the packaging is not intact.
Do not use the product after the expiration date. The expiration date refers to the intact and correctly stored product.
Do not use the product if you have any vaginal lesions or wounds.
Do not use during menstruation.
Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.
Use, especially if prolonged, may give rise to sensitization phenomena.
If this occurs, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor to establish appropriate therapy.
It is important to report to your doctor or pharmacist the appearance of side effects not described in this leaflet.

Precautions for use
In pregnant and breastfeeding women and in children, the use of ovules should be limited to cases of actual need and under the direct supervision of a doctor.
If the hymen is intact, consult your gynecologist about the specific instructions for use before use.
Single-use device: do not reuse in case of accidental leakage.
