Description
Sterile solution free from preservatives and phosphates, for ophthalmic use.
It is used to relieve irritated eyes. Eyes can become irritated and dry due to environmental factors such as prolonged computer work, dry climates, drafts, increased solar radiation, airborne dust or pollen, or when wearing contact lenses.
HYLO FRESH contains eyebright and sodium hyaluronate.
Sodium hyaluronate increases the viscosity of the moisturizing solution, making it denser than water. This allows it to remain on the ocular surface longer.
Using eye drops provides relief to irritated eyes and eyelids, which receive hydration similar to that provided by tears.
It treats all symptoms caused by dry eyes. It also moisturizes the eyes of contact lens wearers.
It can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
It is very well tolerated.
Since it does not contain phosphates, it avoids possible complications due to the formation of deposits on the cornea.

Components
1 ml of HYLO FRESH contains 0.3 mg sodium hyaluronate, mother tincture of eyebright, boric acid, borax and water for injections.

How to use
Remove the cap before use: hold it still with one hand and with the other turn the bottle downwards.
Before the first application, turn the bottle upside down with the dropper facing down and press the bottom of the bottle to release the first drop from the dropper. The bottle is now ready for use for subsequent applications.
Hold the bottle upside down with your thumb on the top and your fingers on the bottom. Support the hand holding the COMOD bottle with your free hand. Tilt your head back slightly, gently pull your lower eyelid down, and quickly and firmly press the bottom of the bottle. This activates the mechanism to release one drop. Thanks to the COMOD System's special valve mechanism, the amount and speed of release are always the same, regardless of the pressure applied. Close your eyes slowly to allow the fluid to spread evenly across the surface of the eye.
After use, immediately close the bottle with the cap, making sure that there is no liquid residue on the dropper.
During instillation, avoid contact between the dropper of the bottle and the eye or the skin of the face.

Use according to your symptoms. Generally, instill one drop of HYLO FRESH in each eye three times a day. More frequent use is permitted if necessary.
In case of more frequent use (more than 10 times a day), consult an ophthalmologist.
Indicated for long-term treatment. If symptoms persist, it is advisable to consult an ophthalmologist.

The COMOD system releases 10 ml of solution equivalent to approximately 300 drops.
For technical reasons, a small amount of solution always remains in the bottle after use.
The use of HYLO FRESH does not have a limited duration.
It is appropriate that the bottle is intended for the treatment of one person only.

Warnings
Use only if the outer packaging is sealed and intact before use.
Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to one of the components.
Keep out of reach of children.
If using any other eye drops, wait at least 30 minutes between applications and always use HYLO FRESH last.
Eye ointments should always be applied after HYLO FRESH.
Since the drops contain no preservatives, long-term treatment is particularly well tolerated. Hypersensitivity reactions (burning, excessive tearing) have been observed in very rare cases, but these disappear immediately upon discontinuation of HYLO FRESH.
After applying contact lenses, it is recommended to wait 30 minutes before applying eye drops in order to avoid possible intolerance reactions that could be caused by interactions between contact lens cleaners and HYLO FRESH.

Conservation
Do not store above 25°C.
Do not use after the expiration date.
Shelf life after opening: 6 months.
