MOSQUITO REPELLENT
Description
Roll-on insect repellent with 50% DEET and plant extracts for maximum protection. Pleasant scent. Ideal for tropical, wooded, and lake areas, or whenever extra protection is needed. Provides an average of 12 hours of mosquito protection with a single application against the most common mosquito species in Europe. For some (tropical) mosquitoes, protection time can be much shorter: an average of 7 hours of protection against the yellow fever mosquito (Aedes aegypti) and 10 hours against the malaria mosquito (Anopheles stephensi).
How to use
Apply gently and evenly to the skin requiring protection. For adults, simultaneous use with other products can treat the following: face, neck, back of the hands, and both arms, or equivalent.
Components
N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide [DEET (50%) 485 g/kg) CAS 134-62-3, ethyl alcohol 38.31%.
Warnings
This product may only be used to repel mosquitoes to protect people. This product is intended for non-professional use only. Factors such as temperature, humidity, and perspiration may affect its effectiveness. It effectively repels mosquitoes, including the most aggressive species, for a maximum protection period of 7 hours per application. It is recommended to wear clothing to cover any untreated areas of skin and thus limit insect activity. For use on the face, first apply the product to your hand, then use your hand to apply it to your face. Avoid contact with food, plastic, and lacquered surfaces. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Do not use more than once a day. Not suitable for use on children under 18 years of age.
Highly flammable liquid and vapor. Causes serious eye damage. Contains geraniol. May cause an allergic reaction. Harmful to aquatic life with long-lasting effects. Inhalation: If inhaled, remove to fresh air and seek medical advice. In case of contact with eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Ingestion: If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show the container or label. Do not reuse the container or release the product into the environment. Keep this product out of reach of children. Do not smoke. Close tightly after use.
Conservation
Keep the product dry and do not expose it to direct sunlight.
Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames or other sources of ignition.
Shelf life when packaged intact: 60 months.
