A soothing and emollient treatment based on natural extracts for the anal and rectal canal, even in the presence of congestive symptoms. Indicated for a variety of prostate conditions, including acute bacterial prostatitis, chronic bacterial prostatitis, pelvic pain syndrome, and asymptomatic inflammatory prostatitis.
How to use
One suppository in the evening or as prescribed by your doctor.

Components
Bromelain, Boswellia, Melissa and Mallow, Pineapple.
Bromelain: By inhibiting lipoxygenase, bromelain exerts anti-inflammatory effects by reducing the formation of eicosanoids. Bromelain also exerts anti-edema, antiplatelet, and fibrinolytic effects, helping prevent the formation of thrombotic phenomena. Bromelain has been studied for its beneficial effects on prostatitis. A human study demonstrated an improvement in prostatitis-related symptoms in subjects treated with bromelain in combination with other natural substances.
Boswellia serrata : Widely studied for its anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties. Research has found that a boswellia extract is more beneficial, less toxic, and more potent than standard medications for rheumatic disorders, which are preferred over other anti-inflammatories such as indomethacin, phenylbutate, or acetylsalicylic acid. The anti-inflammatory effect is due to the presence of boswellic acids, which can inhibit the formation of leukotriene B4 by selectively inhibiting the enzyme 5-lipooxygenase. Boswellia resin also inhibits elastase and hyaluronidase, notoriously destructive proteolytic enzymes.
Melissa officinalis : Its therapeutic properties are attributable to its sedative action, similar to that of sedative drugs belonging to the benzodiazepine class. Another pharmacological property of this plant is its antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, and carminative effects, due to the inhibition of calcium penetration into muscle cells, resulting in a reduction in smooth muscle contraction. Its neurosedative and spasmolytic mechanism of action may be partly attributed to its antithyroid activity, especially its antithyrotropin (TSH) activity. Melissa essence acts on the limbic lobe of the CNS, which is responsible for coordinating vegetative functions as well as protecting against abnormal stimuli from the periphery, providing a sedative effect useful for neurovegetative dystonia.
Malva sylvestris : Extracts of mallow leaves and flowers have been studied for their anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antitumor, antiulcerogenic, and tissue-supporting properties. They also have soothing, emollient, and healing properties.
