Make sure the affected wound is clean.\u003cbr\u003e 2. Gently dry any excess exudate before applying the cream.\u003cbr\u003e 3. Remove the cap and apply pressure to the tube to dispense an adequate amount of cream to be applied to the affected area and the periwound edges. \u003cbr\u003e4. Gently remove any excess with a clean tissue or gauze. For optimal results, Lecoxen cream should be kept in constant contact with the wound and its edges. If necessary, cover the affected area with a secondary dressing.\u003cbr\u003e 5. Reclose with the cap after use.\u003cbr\u003e 6. Lecoxen cream should be reapplied when changing the dressing or checking the wound's progress at least every 24 hours, or as directed by your doctor. To prevent abnormal scarring, we recommend using Lecoxen cream for a minimum of 60–90 days. Larger scars may require longer treatment. The product is recommended for children 3 years and older.
