For this reason, it is important to consume a large amount of fluids and\/or mineral salt preparations.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Stop taking this medicine and contact your doctor if:\u003cbr\u003e - you do not notice an improvement in your condition within 48 hours of taking LOPERAMIDE DOC Generici; \u003cbr\u003e- you have AIDS and experience abdominal swelling during treatment with this medicine; if you are taking LOPERAMIDE DOC Generici to treat diarrhoea caused by bacteria or viruses (infectious colitis) you have a higher risk of developing other disorders associated with blockage of the intestine's activity (toxic megacolon).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Take this medicine with caution and under medical supervision if you have liver problems (hepatic insufficiency), because toxic effects affecting the central nervous system may occur.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Do not take this medicine for any purpose other than that intended (see section 1) and never take more than the recommended dose (see section 3).
