If during treatment you experience constipation (constipation), ileus or abdominal swelling (abdominal distension), stop treatment with this medicine immediately and contact your doctor;\u003cbr\u003e - if you are using medicines that reduce bowel movements.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eWarnings and precautions\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Loperamide Hexal.\u003cbr\u003e Pay particular attention:v - if you have diarrhoea your body loses liquids and mineral salts: to restore normal levels, it may be useful to take aqueous solutions based on sugar and salts;\u003cbr\u003e - treatment with Loperamide Hexal is only symptomatic and does not serve to eliminate the cause of your disorder;\u003cbr\u003e - if you have reduced liver function, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Loperamide Hexal.\u003cbr\u003e   \u003cbr\u003eThe use of this medicine improves the symptoms of diarrhea (symptomatic treatment), but does not cure the cause. Therefore, when it is possible to establish the cause of diarrhea, it is necessary to treat it with a specific therapy that will be indicated by the doctor.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Do not take this medicine for more than 2 days.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Stop taking this medicine immediately and contact your doctor if:\u003cbr\u003e - you do not notice an improvement in your condition within 48 hours of taking Loperamide Hexal;\u003cbr\u003e - has AIDS and experiences abdominal swelling during treatment with this medicine;\u003cbr\u003e - if you experience constipation (constipation), ileus or abdominal swelling (abdominal distension) during treatment\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e If you are taking Loperamide Hexal to treat diarrhoea caused by bacteria or viruses (infectious colitis) you have a higher risk of developing other disorders associated with blockage of the intestine (toxic megacolon).\u003cbr\u003e   \u003cbr\u003eDo not take this medicine for any purpose other than that intended (see section 1) and never take more than the recommended dose (see section 3).
