In vitro and in vivo studies have demonstrated that Teupolioside, the active ingredient extracted from Ajuga Reptans, has great antioxidant power and is characterized by a wide variety of biological activities, although its main characteristics are the inhibition of 5 alpha reductase and the fight against inflammatory conditions.
Nettle roots contain phytosterols such as Betasitosterin, which can effectively inhibit the formation of Dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Phyllanthus is a powerful natural inhibitor of 5 alpha reductase. Epilobium contains myricetol-3-0-beta-D-glucuronide, an active ingredient that has been shown to inhibit the release of pro-inflammatory prostaglandins PGD2, known for their negative impact on the hair cycle.

Ingredients
Ajuga Reptans, dry extract: Phenylpropanoid Teupolioside, also known as laumiuside A, is a secondary metabolite produced by the Ajuga Reptans plant when it needs to defend itself, especially from UV rays. It is a molecule with great antioxidant and anti-inflammatory power. The main therapeutic actions recognized for Ajuga Reptans are attributable to the treatment of Androgenetic Alopecia, Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (BPH), Crohn's Disease and Microcirculatory Diseases.
Nettle (highly titrated in Betasitosterols) dry extract (DNA certified): The roots of Nettle (Urtica Dioica) contain phytosterols such as Betasitosterin, capable of effectively inhibiting the formation of dihydrotestosterone. Betasitosterin can also boast a strong anti-inflammatory, remineralizing and markedly antioxidant action.
Phillantus niruri, dry extract: Dry extract with a high titration of Stigmasterol Glucoside. Several clinical studies* attest that Phyllanthus is the most powerful inhibitor of 5 alpha reductase among the various extracts obtained from plants of the Euphorbiaceae family. The anti-DHT activity has been tested both in vitro and in vivo. The active ingredient contained in Phyllanthus that is responsible for the anti-DHT effect is Stigmasterol Glucoside, which is able to inhibit approximately 50% of DHT (with a dosage of 27.2 micro M).

Epilobius parviflora (DNA Certified): dry extract from certified DNA. Epilobium contains myricetol-3-0-beta-D-glucuronide, an active ingredient that has been shown to inhibit the release of pro-inflammatory prostaglandins PGD2, known for their negative impact on the hair cycle.
The phenolic compounds of Epilobium are mainly responsible for the scavenger capacity, that is, the neutralization of free radicals.
