Description
The product is indicated for wound healing in a moist environment and for the management of exudate.
It is indicated for a wide range of non- to low-exuding wounds, including acute wounds such as donor sites, post-operative wounds and traumatic wounds, as well as chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers and non-infected diabetic foot ulcers.
It is a thin, sterile, disposable polyurethane foam dressing with a silicone adhesive.
It can be left in place for up to 7 days depending on the amount of exudate, the condition of the dressing, and the type of wound. It can be used in conjunction with Purilon gel for the autolytic debridement of necrotic tissue. It can be used on patients being treated for a local or systemic infection, at the healthcare provider's discretion. It is suitable for use in combination with compression therapy.
The product is composed of:
-a top film that promotes breathability, but is impermeable to water and bacteria;
-an absorbent pad made of polyurethane foam;
-a perforated silicone sticker;
-turquoise colored protective layer.
Sterilized by ethylene oxide.
Latex free.

How to use
Preparation:
Cleanse the wound and surrounding skin according to local guidelines, such as with warm water or saline. Gently dry the surrounding skin. If using barrier films, creams, ointments, or similar products, allow the surrounding skin to dry before applying the product.
Application:
Choose a product whose foam pad extends approximately 1-2 cm beyond the wound edge. Use the protective flaps to avoid touching the adhesive side, ensuring aseptic application. Remove the central protective part. Apply the adhesive side facing the wound. Remove the remaining protective flaps, one at a time. Gently run your fingers along the edge of the product to ensure it adheres evenly and evenly to the skin.
Removal:
The product should be replaced when clinically indicated, when visible traces of exudate approach the edge of the foam pad, or after 7 days. Loosen the adhesive edge, gently lift it, and then remove the product from the wound.
Disposal:
The product is for single use only and must be disposed of according to local guidelines, for example in household waste.

Warnings
If you develop a suspected allergic reaction or any other side effect, contact your healthcare provider.
Infected wounds, diabetic wounds, and wounds entirely or partially caused by arterial insufficiency should be inspected frequently and managed by a healthcare provider according to local guidelines.
Do not use the product with oxidizing solutions, such as hypochlorite and hydrogen peroxide. Make sure any other evaporating solutions used are completely dry before applying the product.
Do not use if package is damaged.
Reusing this single-use product can be potentially harmful to the user. Processing, washing, disinfection, and/or sterilization may compromise the product's performance, posing a further risk of physical harm or infection to the user.
Do not throw the product into the toilet.

Conservation
Store away from sunlight.
